Have you ever experienced a moment when everything shifted? Perhaps it was meeting your spouse, holding your first child, or receiving life-changing news. In the spiritual realm, there’s a defining moment that surpasses all others – the moment you encounter Jesus Christ. This isn’t about gradually becoming a better person or slowly finding religion. It’s about a complete transformation that happens in an instant. One moment you’re walking in darkness, the next you’re walking in light. One moment you’re separated from God, the next you’re His beloved child. This transformation isn’t based on your performance or worthiness – it’s purely God’s grace reaching down to you. Just like the woman in the synagogue who had been bent over for 18 years, you may have been carrying burdens that have weighed you down. But when Jesus sees you, everything can change in a moment. His kingdom doesn’t gradually seep into your life; it transforms you completely and immediately. The question isn’t whether you’re good enough for this transformation – none of us are. The question is whether you’re ready to receive the grace that changes everything.
