Imagine knowing your boss was coming back from a business trip, but you didn’t know exactly when. How would that uncertainty affect your work? Jesus teaches us that His return should fundamentally transform how we live today. The reality is that Christ will come back, and when He does, He won’t be interested in our good intentions or elaborate plans. He will evaluate what we actually did with what He entrusted to us. This isn’t meant to create anxiety but to bring clarity and purpose to our daily lives. Every decision, every conversation, every use of our time and resources takes on eternal significance when we remember that our Master is returning. The question isn’t whether He’s coming back – it’s whether we’ll be found faithful when He arrives.
