Shameless Boldness | Wednesday
Dr. Michael Gossett

Devotional
Jesus tells a story about a man who persistently knocks on his neighbor’s door at midnight, asking for bread. The neighbor eventually responds – not out of friendship, but because of the man’s shameless boldness. If an unwilling neighbor will respond to persistence, how much more will our loving Heavenly Father respond to our bold prayers? This isn’t about wearing God down or convincing Him to care. It’s about expressing the kind of confident trust that refuses to give up. Shameless boldness in prayer means we keep coming to God, not because we doubt His love, but because we’re absolutely convinced of it. We persist not to change God’s mind, but to align our hearts with His timing and purposes. When we pray with shameless boldness, we’re declaring our complete dependence on Him.

Bible Verse
“And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” – Luke 11:9
