A Note from Todd Haymans | February 20, 2026
Church Family,
As we enter the weekend, I’d love to encourage you to read, pray, and re-read Philippians 2:10-11. Let’s ask the Lord to hide this passage in our heart.
Paul says, “so that at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth – and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
While this letter was written to believers in Philippi, it is also for us. Christ moved into the neighborhood as a humble servant, yet conquered death and sin so that we would have an abundant life in Him. In this passage, Paul proclaims that the bowing of every knee in heaven, on earth, and under the earth symbolizes the universal scope of Christ’s authority. Nothing is excluded; all creation ultimately acknowledges His lordship.
Starting tonight, middle school and high school students from all over Tyler, Whitehouse, Flint, and beyond will gather here at church for WKND. This is our version of Disciple-Now. While it may look like fun and games at first, the ultimate purpose is for each student to encounter the marvelous truth and hope of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The theme for WKND is “No Other Name” and we are praying that every student in attendance will experience Christ’s love, fully surrender to His lordship, and resist bowing down to the desires of this world and choose to bend their knee to the authority of Jesus. We are asking God to reveal to them that no other name is greater than Jesus Christ. Would you join us in praying for our students?

We would love for you to join us on Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm for our weekly Prayer Gathering. We will spend time seeking the Lord together, lifting up one another, praying for our community, and asking God to move in and through our church for His glory.
Come as you are. Bring your tired heart, your anxious thoughts, your grateful spirit, or all of the above. We will meet you there, and more importantly, the Lord will meet us there.

Easter is a sacred and meaningful season, and we are truly looking forward to worshiping with you throughout Easter weekend.
On Good Friday at 6:00 PM, we will gather for worship at all campuses.
On Easter Sunday, services will be held at:
- 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM at our Tyler and Flint campuses
- 11:00 AM at our Español campus
As we prepare our hearts for this special weekend, we encourage you to begin praying about which service you will attend and where you might serve. Easter is a powerful opportunity to welcome others and celebrate the hope we have in Christ together.
Right beside you,
Todd Haymans
