Jesus Sees You Where You Are | Tuesday
Devotional
In a crowded synagogue, among all the people gathered for worship, Jesus noticed one woman. She had been bent over for 18 years, unable to stand straight or look forward. She didn’t call out to Him, didn’t push through the crowd, didn’t even ask for help. Yet Jesus saw her exactly where she was. This is the heart of our Savior – He sees you in your current situation. Whatever crisis you’re facing, whatever pain you’re experiencing, whatever diagnosis you’ve received, whatever healing you’re desperately waiting for – Jesus sees you. You don’t have to perform or prove yourself worthy of His attention. You don’t have to clean up your life before approaching Him. He sees you in your brokenness, in your struggle, in your ordinary Tuesday morning routine. His grace isn’t waiting. for you to get better; it’s reaching toward you right now, right where you are. The woman simply walked into the synagogue that day, probably expecting nothing more than another routine service. But Jesus had other plans. He always does. Your breakthrough might be closer than you think, not because you’ve earned it, but because Jesus sees you and His heart is moved with compassion for your situation.
Bible Verse
‘The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.’ – Luke 4:18
