Grace That Sustains | Thursday
Dr. Michael Gossett

Devotional
There’s something powerful about watching someone navigate suffering with grace. Their response becomes a testimony that speaks louder than any sermon or argument. When others see Christ’s peace sustaining someone through impossible circumstances, it points to a reality beyond this world.

You may be walking through a season of pain right now, wondering how you’ll make it through another day. The weight of your circumstances feels unbearable, and well-meaning friends offer advice that falls short of addressing your deep need. In these moments, remember that you’re not alone in your struggle.

God doesn’t promise to remove every difficulty from your path, but He does promise that His grace will be sufficient for whatever you face. His strength is made perfect in your weakness, and His presence becomes most real when you have nowhere else to turn.

Your faithful endurance through trials doesn’t just benefit you—it becomes a powerful witness to others who are watching. They see something supernatural at work when you choose trust over bitterness, hope over despair, and faith over fear. Your suffering, sustained by God’s grace, becomes an invitation for others to discover the same source of strength.

Today, lean into God’s sufficient grace and let your response to difficulty point others toward the hope that sustains you.

Bible Verse
‘Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.’ – James 1:2
