Following the King of Kings | Thursday

When you truly understand who Jesus is, fear begins to lose its grip on your heart. This isn’t just any leader asking for your allegiance – this is the King of kings and Lord of lords who holds all things together. Every molecule floating through space moves at His command. Every breath you take is sustained by His power. When you follow this King, you can do so without fear because He’s got you in the palm of His hand. The same Jesus who conquered death and rose from the grave is the one who promises to never leave you or forsake you. Cultural movements rise and fall, empires crumble, dictators are forgotten, but the Church has outlived them all because it’s built on the unshakeable foundation of Christ’s victory. When you place your faith in Jesus, you’re not just choosing a religion – you’re choosing to follow the sovereign ruler of the universe.

How would your daily decisions change if you truly believed that the King of kings has you in the palm of His hand?

Prayer
Jesus, help me to live with the confidence that comes from knowing You are sovereign over all things. Replace my fears with faith in Your perfect control.
