Hello Green Acres Family!

I pray your summer has been amazing and that you aren’t completely melted just yet!  Green Acres has been in full swing per normal and things aren’t slowing down any time soon!  The Lord is doing so many incredible things right now in our church.  Here are a couple things to put on your radar so you can be in prayer over the next couple weeks!

A team from our Flint Campus left this week to go on mission to Seattle, Washington.  Join us in praying for the team to be used by the Lord and to see lives transformed in that incredible city!  What a blessing it has been to watch our Flint Campus thrive over these past few months.  They are growing and reaching that community in amazing ways.

The next two weeks are big ones for our Student Ministry!  Both Middle School and High School camps are happening.  The High Schoolers leave this Sunday for Engulfed in Panama City Beach, Florida and the Middle Schoolers leave for Breakaway the following Sunday and head to Houston!  Church, I love these camps.  They are both incredible ministry opportunities for our staff and volunteers to connect these students to Jesus.  I personally am so excited because our worship ministry has been invited to lead the worship times at both camps this year!  Leading worship at our student camps is one of the great joys of my ministry at Green Acres.  Nothing can get you more excited than seeing students passionately express their worship to the Lord.

A couple prayer requests for our student camps are:

Pray for open minds and hearts to the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Prayer for wonderful times of worship filled with the Spirit

Pray for safety in travel and while we are gone

Pray for endurance for our staff and volunteers.  These will be long weeks of work!

As always, I am humbled to serve here at Green Acres.  As our staff works toward the goals placed before us, I am constantly reminded of how lucky our church is to have the staff we do.  They work very hard with humility and true servant hearts.  They love each of you dearly, as do I!  We hope you have a wonderful week and we cannot wait to see you Sunday!

Love you all,

Chance Riehl
