Are you new to Green Acres Baptist Church? We are so honored to welcome you as our guest! To help your visit go smoothly, please fill out our guest contact form. This information is gathered to add you into our guest registry, and we love to reach out to guests to help make our large church feel a little smaller. Additionally, if you have children, filling out this form can help speed up your registration process for your first time check-in. We have also included some information below that we hope will help you plan your visit with us.
Where is Green Acres?
1607 Troup Hwy.
Tyler, Texas 75701
Our Sunday services are at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. in both the CrossWalk Conference Center and the Worship Center. Green Acres is a big church, but we would like to make it easier for you to find where to go! Here is a basic overview map of our campus, that shows the main buildings you might need, as well as where our guest parking is located.
Do you have questions about where to go? Look for one of our friendly First Impressions volunteers! They wear green lanyards, and you can find them at most entry doors as well as at the Information Desks throughout our campus. These volunteers will cheerfully guide you as you learn your way around!

Sunday Morning Bible Study
Connecting to a Sunday Morning Bible Study (SMBS) helps make our big church feel much smaller. SMBS is the best place to connect with others, and Green Acres offers a wide variety of SMBS groups for every age and stage of life! We encourage you to try out one (or several) of our SMBS groups to find the perfect fit for you! You can find groups at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. For starters, consider checking out our digital “SMBS Finder” to help narrow down the choices for you or read through our SMBS Guide in PDF format to see all our current groups.
What to Expect
What should I wear?
Come dressed as you are! You will see everything from jeans and t-shirts to a few suits, ties, and dresses. Feel free to come in the way that fits your style and Sunday tradition.
How long is the service?
Our Sunday morning Worship Services and SMBS groups last approximately 70 minutes each. (Two time blocks: 9:00-10:10 a.m. and 10:30-11:40 a.m.)
Do you provide childcare?
Yes! You can find our Preschool area (Birth through PreK) in the Preschool Building, which is secure and staffed by workers who have passed a background check. You can check in those students at the desk in the Atrium (the large desk by the entrance to the EEC).
What about school-age children?
Students in K through 5th Grade meet in the Lighthouse Building on the 1st and 2nd floor. These students also check in at the desk in the Lighthouse Children’s Atrium. Students 6th through 12th grades meet in the One-Ten Student Center. We encourage all students to visit a Worship Service as well!
Will I be singled out?
No! But we would love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
What are the sermons like?
We are glad you asked! Feel free to watch one here.
Where do I park?
We have guest parking in the North Parking Lot across from the Worship Center (entrance from Barbara Street). We also have Guest Family Parking next to the Adult Education Building (entrance between AEB and FLC from Dulce Drive) designated for those of you attending with young children. Additional parking is available in the shopping center across Dulse Drive. We also run shuttles through both of the larger parking lots.
Will I be pressured for money?
No! Please consider your attendance as gift enough. We do take an offering during each worship service, however, which allows our members to contribute to our ministries and missions.
I have other questions. Whom do I contact?
We would love to hear from you! Please email Lorin Roberts at email@example.com, and we will respond within a 24-hour period.
Want to join in with some of our upcoming events? We would love to have you! For current events, including news and registrations, visit News & Events. For a comprehensive calendar, including a look ahead, visit the Church Calendar.
