The Green Acres Baptist Church Foundation exists to provide long term support for the present and future ministries of the church.

The Foundation accomplishes its mission through the stewardship of resources that provide a heritage for generation after generation to know, worship, and serve Christ. Planned gifts and bequests to the Green Acres Baptist Church Foundation will fund a long term endowment that permanently support the church’s missions and ministries to help transform lives with the truth of Jesus.

Through your gracious direct gifts and legacy estate gifts, you make a difference for God’s Kingdom—not only today but also until the day Jesus returns.

What kind of gifts does the GABC Foundation accept?

The Foundation accepts bequests from wills, cash, securities, real estate, tangible property, the remainder of an IRA, tax-sheltered annuity, qualified pension or profit-sharing plan.

Can I designate my gift for a certain ministry?

Yes. However, the Foundation is seeking undesignated gifts so we can build a perpetual fund that will meet a variety of needs within the church for generations to come.

Is the GABC Foundation just a cushion for the general budget?

No. The Foundation is designed to provide for future ministries of our church.

What is a "testamentary gift"?

A testamentary gift is a gift to the Foundation made as a part of the last ill and testament. It instructs the estate to set aside a certain amount of property to be given.

An endowment is a permanent fund that generates income that will be used to invest in the ministries of our church.
