Walter Ballou

Walter Ballou is the Student Minister, serving GABC students since 2003. He holds a B.A. in Christian Ministries from East Texas Baptist University and an M.A. in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Walter previously served on staff at Metropolitan Baptist in Houston and First Baptist Church in Pflugerville, TX.

Walter enjoys hunting, martial arts and mixing cereal. He and his wife, Shelly, have two children.

Ken Brumley

Ken Brumley is the Pastor of GraceWorks Counseling Ministry. A veteran staff member, Ken started his GABC career as the Singles Minister, and after 15 years of serving, elected to focus on pre- and post-marital counseling by launching the GraceWorks Counseling Ministry. Ken holds a B.A. in Music/Voice from East Texas Baptist University and an M.E. with a focus on Marriage & Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.


Ken enjoys hunting, fly fishing, four-wheeling in Colorado and grandparenting. He serves on the board of Christian Hunters and Anglers Association, an evangelistic outreach ministry to dads and sons/dads and daughters. Ken and his wife, Judy, have two children and five grandchildren.

Adult Impact Minister

Kevin Burdette

Kevin Burdette is the Adult Impact Minister. Kevin, a veteran staffer since 1991, holds a B.A. in Music, specializing in Piano Performance from Mobile College in Mobile, AL and a M.M. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Prior to starting the Adult Impact Ministry, Kevin served as the GABC Student Music Minister, a Music Associate at First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, TX and Music Associate at First Baptist Church in Fairhope, AL.

Kevin enjoys traveling, family activities, reading, anything Disney, Alabama Football (RTR) and playing piano. He and his wife, Penny, have two children.

Tony Causey

Tony Causey is the Facilities Ministry Manager, heading the Maintenance and Housekeeping staff since 2008. Tony is an alumnus of Gulf Coast Bible College and former administrator at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Tony and his wife, Melanie, have two children and one grandchild.

Eddy Espinosa

Eddy Espinosa is the Culinary Services Director. Serving since 2012, he holds an A.A. from Garces Commercial College, a B.A. from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camille, GA and is working on an M.A. from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, GA. Eddy comes to GABC from Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, where he was Director of Ministry Support/Facilities/Food Service. He has also worked as Director of Food Services at First Baptist Orlando and Food Service Manager at McGregor Baptist in Fort Myers, FL. He is author of “Developing a Food Service,” a financial management manual, at Union Theological Seminary.

Eddy and his wife, Lorena, have four children and five grandchildren.

Bryan Grant

Bryan Grant is the Minister to Single Adults. He earned a B.S. in Marketing from Winthrop University and an M.Div. with a focus on Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Green Acres in 1995, Bryan was a Recruiter for Southwestern Baptist Theological seminary. Bryan is a contributing author to the Baker Handbook of Single Parent Ministry.


Bryan and his wife, Stacey, have two children.

Jennifer Grigsby

Jennifer Grigsby serves as our Minister to Children. She began her career at GABC in 2003 as the 1st and 2nd Grade Coordinator. After a year, she transitioned to Elementary Associate. In 2014, Jennifer began serving as Children’s Minister. She attended LSU and became a Certified Paralegal at Baton Rouge Paralegal School.

Jennifer and her husband, Jason, have two sons. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her boys play various sports and hanging out with her husband.

Recreation Minister

Buddy Holland

Buddy Holland is the Recreation Minister and holds a B.S. in Recreation/Leisure from the University of Alabama and an M.R.E. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before coming to GABC in 1995, Buddy served at First Baptist Center Texas as Minister of Recreation/Students/Senior Adults and also at First Baptist Church in Natchez, MS as Minister of Recreation/Students. He also held the Recreation/Students/Benevolence position at Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. His current position at GABC oversees the Family Life Center, the Paul W. Powell Retreat Center and the ROC.

Buddy and his wife, Linda, have three children.

Glenn Jones

Glenn Jones is the Minister to Senior Adults and Pastoral Care. He holds a B.E.D. from Texas A&M University and an M.M. in Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to GABC in 2014, Glenn served as Minister of Music/Senior Adults at First Baptist Church, White Settlement, Fort Worth, TX, Minister of Music/Education/Administration at Lake Highlands Baptist Church in Dallas, TX, Minister of Music at Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, TX, Church Music Administration/Consultant for the Music & Worship Department at the Baptist General Convention of Texas. He also served as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Madisonville, TX.

Glenn loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing and working in his wood shop. Glenn and his wife, Nancy, have three children and two grandchildren. They reside in Lindale, where their future grandchildren can come and enjoy the outdoors.

Andy Reynolds

Andy is the Assistant Stewardship Director, coming to GABC from Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview, where he served as Minister of Administration. He has served in Christian administration roles for 20 years. Prior to his call to ministry, he worked as a corporate Human Resources Manager and a General Manager for a large retail chain.

Andy earned his professional designation as a Certified Church Administrator (CCA) from the Church Network, formerly known as the National Association of Church Business Administration.

In is spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with his family and on Friday nights in autumn, he might be seen attending high school football games. Andy and his wife, Jerrie, have two children.

Dustin Slaton

Dustin Slaton is the GABC South Campus Pastor. He joined the staff in 2014 after serving as Minister of Students & Recreation at First Baptist Church, Terrell, TX, Minister of Students & Outreach, Kentuckytown Baptist Church in Whitewright, TX and was Equipping Project Coordinator at Dare2Share Ministries in Wheat Ridge, CO. Dustin earned a B.A. in Theology from Ouachita Baptist University and an Adv. M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dustin and his wife, Melody, have four children.

Jason Smith

Jason Smith is the Church Planting Catalyst. Since joining the staff in 2000, Jason has served as GABC College Minister, Associate Recreation Minister and Associate Minister. He holds a B.S. from Baylor University and a master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jason and his wife, Julie, have two children.

Debbie Stuart

Debbie Stuart serves as the GABC Women’s Minister. She previously served as Lifeway Christian Resources National Women’s Ministry Trainer, Vice President of Hope for the Heart June Hunt, Director of Church and Leadership Development for Women of Faith, Director of Women’s Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church and Director of Women’s Ministry for Willow Point Baptist Church.

Debbie has multiple publications under her name, including two books: 20 Minutes a Day for the Rest of Your Life and 20 Lessons Learned from 20 Minutes a Day. She was also a writer for LifeWay and WomensMinistryTools.org and Women’s Devotional. In addition, Debbie is is very honored to be the recipient of the Legends Award 2017, Women of the World 2015, Shining Star Award recognizing Outstanding Women in Leadership 2011 and a National Conference speaker and Bible teacher.

Debbie is married to John Mark Stuart.

Broadcast Ministries Director

Tibby Wright

Tibby Wright is the Broadcast Ministry Director and longtime staff member. He holds a B.S. in Biblical Studies with a Music minor from Arlington Baptist College. Prior to the beginning of his term on the GABC staff in 1984, Tibby served as President of Trinity Communications and Director of Operational Resources at Lindsey Morden Claim Services. He is married to Ann and enjoys bass fishing, music and grandkids.
