A Note from Todd Haymans
Happy Friday!
Have you ever heard of a man named Maewyn Succat? He was a Christian missionary who served in Ireland and other areas of Europe. Scholars say that he used the shamrock (three leaf clover) as a picture of the Trinity when sharing his faith. Today is a holiday in his commemoration. He is better known as Saint Patrick.
Speaking of mission, GABC has sent over 100 of our members out on mission trips this past week. They have been spreading the gospel and serving churches all over the world. I am so thankful that our church is a sending people, willing to go wherever to see lives transformed with the truth of Jesus.
Easter weekend is approaching soon, and I am so excited to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with you! Here are some important times and dates:
April 7th – Good Friday Service at 6:00pm
April 8th – Easter Worship Service at 5:00pm
April 9th – Easter Worship Services at 9:30 and 11:00am
Note: All Easter Worship Services are Identical
Please grab Easter Invite Cards in our foyer and Connections Suite this Sunday for all your friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers.
Also, please note that Easter Sunday marks the first day of three Connect Group hours (8:00am, 9:30am, 11:00am). I am so grateful for our Connect Groups and how they continue to Connect, Grow, and Multiply. If you have not joined a Connect Group, please click here for more information. You can also email adults@gabc.org with any questions.
I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday.
The Best is Yet to Come,
