A Note from John Roach

Wow! I continue to be amazed at all the Lord is doing at GABC. I’m so very grateful for the way you’ve welcomed and loved on me and my family. That being said, this love you’ve shown to us gives me great hope for the opportunities to come for us to love our city, our country and the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m reminded of Matthew 9:37-38, “Then he [Jesus] said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.'” Let’s join Jesus in this prayer by praying and going. What if God wants you to be the answer to this prayer? What if God is using this prayer to tell you that you are the laborer someone has been praying for?

Pastor McClean Chimwenje from Mitindu Baptist Church in Malawi quoted this passage when he was telling me of the harvest awaiting in his country. He said, “We just need people to come help us share the good news of Jesus with my country, they are ready and wanting this new life, but there are so many we cannot tell all of them.”

Church…let’s be the laborers that share in the harvest of the souls ripe to be rescued from their sin and its effects. Don’t put off what you can do today. Join me and others as God uses us to transform lives with the truth if Jesus around the world. Register now for the interest meeting on January 23rd and explore the opportunities to serve in Malawi and Zambia. You can register here. The harvest is waiting… will you respond?
