Why would anyone want to stay the same? Well, it just seems easier because avoiding change does not cost anything—at least not on the surface. Most of us seek the path of least resistance; that is human nature. Unfortunately human nature has its own cost. Most of the problems in the world-death, terrorism, violent crime, divorce, bankruptcy, just to name a few, result from people simply acting out their human nature.

Jesus called His followers to a more abundant life—a life beyond the grind. However, to receive this full life, God must TRANSFORM our natures into new creations. This transformation comes from our belief in Christ's death and our submission to follow His teachings. Romans 12:2 says we will be transformed by the renewing of our minds, which sums up the purpose of Sunday Morning Bible Study (SMBS).

SMBS helps adults start and continue growing in Christ-likeness through studying the Bible interactively, building real relationships in small groups, and by serving one another's needs. This growth will cost time and energy, but I promise you will never be the same if you join a SMBS. You will be transformed.
