Green Acres has a vibrant and active Instrumental Ministry that includes opportunities to play in large and small ensembles, praise bands, and various other types of music groups.  We are always looking for experienced musicians who love to play and want to serve the Lord!  Please contact Matt Robb at 903-525-1114 for more information!

Celebration Orchestra

The Celebration Orchestra exists to Exalt God's Greatness and lead the people of God in worship on a weekly basis, using musical instruments to set the tone for Sunday morning worship. These faithful, talented, and highly committed individuals rehearse once a week on Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Galilee Room on the first floor of the Worship Center. Rehearsals are open to all adult instrumentalists with at least four years playing experience. The Celebration Orchestra accompanies the Celebration Choir, participates in the music community of East Texas, plays for special occasions, and performs concerts at the church and in the community each year. 

The Exaltation Orchestra

The Exaltation Orchestra is an intermediate orchestra made up of younger students and adults who have not played in awhile.  They rehearse on Wednesday nights from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. during the months of January - May.  These instrumentalists periodically lead worship in the WEBS Bible Study.  

Small Ensembles
Throughout the year, we form many small ensembles, which minister throughout the community and provide worship music. Groups include: "Winds of Praise", a woodwind quintet; "Kindom's Brass" a brass ensemble and others.
