When someone in poverty is ready to change their life they are referred to East Texas Cornerstone Assistance Network by one of our many partner agencies. A loving, knowledgeable case manager does a thorough evaluation of all aspects of the person’s life. After taking into consideration their physical, spiritual and emotional needs, a plan for life change is drawn up. Then, in partnership with the church or agency that originally sent the individual to Cornerstone, the person begins working to build a better life for themselves.
Our program of transformation is built on relationships. Those who receive assistance from us are in relationship with us, our partner churches, agencies and businesses. Therefore we can always follow-up to see if additional assistance is needed or if the person has moved past their crisis and is doing all right.
