Volunteers in Preschool/ VIPs

(formerly Pals of Preschoolers) Each Sunday, we care for infants through 4-year-olds during our worship time. We need volunteers willing to work once every three months for one hour.

VIP Supply Volunteer

Gather and distribute all the supplies needed for extended care time by Thursday each week

Sunday Morning Greeter

Sunday Morning Greeters help us welcome our guests and members to the Children's Ministry

Help with mailouts and outreach projects

Early Education Center Shopper

Shop at Sam's Club once a month for our Early Education Center.

Play Dough Maker

Make play dough at home. Recipe and supplies provided.

Get Scissor Happy!

Cut out pictures or fabric for the kids to use in Sunday School. Most of this can be done from home.

Resource Room Volunteers

Spend three or four hours each week to assist a staff member in preparing for Sunday morning. Duties include straightening resource closets, prepring supplies for Sunday morning, organizing Sunday School rooms and supplies.

Visitor Volunteers

We write to lots and lots of guests. Help us write to them, keep our guests organized.

Easter Coordinator

Each Easter we host over 1,200 children. This person will help us locate additional supplies needed, organize overflow rooms, and set up times to get rooms ready.

Seasonal Activities

VBS, summer activities, Kids' Night Out, etc. Teachers, chaperons, etc. are needed to assist in all activities.

Paid Childcare Teachers

Paid teachers care for our children at various childcare activities. We are always looking for those who love children and are skilled in this area. There is a place for you! Sunday Morning Bible Study*

8:15 & 9:30 a.m. for all ages birth through 5th grade; 11 a.m. birth through 4 years old. Lead teacher in a class (90 needed weekly); Assistant teacher in a class (220 needed weekly)

Kidz Praise*

For ages 3 through 5th grade from September-May 6-7 p.m. Call Leigh Gomillion at 903-525-1147 for more information. Direct a children's choir (12 needed weekly); Assist a Director in a children's choir (75) needed weekly)

AWANA & Grapple*

Kindergarten through 5th grade; Sunday 5:45-7:30 p.m. September-May
