Conference Room (main level)
The main level of the Conference Center has the capacity for 2,000 in conference/worship configuration with chairs only, or 1,400 seated at round tables.
The conference room is divisible into two rooms with an approximate capacity of 1,000 people each in chairs only and approximately 700 people around tables.
The back half of the conference room is divisible into two rooms, one with an approximate capacity of 300 in chairs only and 200 around tables, and the other of 600 in chairs only and 450 around tables.
Presentation Area
The Stage in the main level of the Conference Center is capable of hosting speakers, conference presentations, musical groups, and even an orchestra. Smaller video projection screens on each side of the stage provide support information for the presentation or worship experience, and a large projection screen on the stage itself is capable of presenting a “life-size” recorded image or a live broadcast of a speaker directly from the Worship Center.
Courtyard Level (lower floor)
The Courtyard Level of the Conference Center offers six rooms to host groups and classes of varying sizes, from 25-155 people in conference style seating. The central area of the Courtyard Level is a large Gathering Area capable of functioning as a flexible fellowship area, a commons and display area for conferences, or a reception area, next to a new outdoor garden courtyard between the Conference Center and Worship Center.
Food Service Ministry
The Green Acres Food Service Ministry is relocating to the Conference Center from its long-time home in the Family Life Center. The Conference Center Kitchen is designed to prepare and serve meals to groups of a variety of sizes, from banquets of 1,400 to small meetings of 20 or less.
Parking Deck
The CrossWalk Conference Center is coupled with a new two-level Parking Deck with parking for approximately 500 vehicles. Direct access to the Conference Center is available on three different levels from the Parking Deck and ground level parking.
Worship Center Access
The Conference Center is attached to the Worship Center, with direct indoor access to the first floor and balcony levels of the Worship Center. Since the Worship Center is also attached to the Lighthouse and Preschool Buildings, it will be possible to enter any of the three buildings through handicap-friendly entrances and move throughout the entire complex without ever going outside, or, thanks to the strategic use of ramps and elevators, having to use stairs.
Prayer Area
The Upper Room on the third level of the Conference Center is the new home to our Intercessory Prayer Ministry. This secure area is accessible directly from the upper level of the Parking Deck and is capable of hosting as many as 6-8 prayer participants in private prayer areas simultaneously.
